Lovely. I like the shadows in the snow, you trees and wire fence so very well done.

Very well done you can almost feel the cold in this painting

Hi Judith I too like the recent additions to your gallery.

Hi Judith, lovely wintry painting and snow is not an easy subject to get to "look right". Well done. Many thanks for your kind comments on my Autumn country lane.

Hi Judith this is lovely could just make a snowball and throw it sown someone's neck...the shadows colours in the snow are lovely...I love snow

Me again so busy looking at the snow I just noticed the trees and fence beautiful

Hi Judith, thanks for commenting on my Lichen 1. No there is no pastel in that particular one. If I use pastel then it is on top of the watercolour and I don't fix it. I don't use pastel on top of watercolour very often so I'm probably not the best one to offer advice but Jeannette Harrison uses the two together quite a lot, especialy in her Degas paintings, and has become quite an expert. Worth a look at her portfolio and I'm sure she'd answer any questions you might have. Just been checking out your gallery, full of lovely paintings. Really like your pastels, especially this one, a lovely scene beautifully painted, well done.

This painting is so alive and outstanding. I really love it.

the rutted path, the barren trees, seeing the snow, it gives a shiver up one's spine. Beautiful . Whats the medium, and the size of the work? Paper or canvas?

This is pastel on medium blue paper and is about 10 ins by 8ins. Thank you for your kind comment sunil.
