I'd like to say I painted this from direct observation from a hide atop a tree in Africa.... but no, its done from a host of source photos, with a very dramatic background sunset . This assembly of images and my own interpretation of possible colour and light effects makes for a dramatic mood painting. Acrylic on canvasboard. 70cm x 50cm
