Imagined scene from a series of studies I did at the foot of the Accademia Bridge on the Grand Canal during a visit to Venice. I was actually there during the day -bustling with people -so the romantic/surreal near empty scene with just two entwined dancers is purely imagined. 30 inches by 20 inches, on canvasboard.
