My own take on an atmospheric view of that extremely popular, much painted and photographed, Venice view , from in front of the Doge's Palace towards San Giorgio Maggiore, with moored gondolas in the foreground. Yep, a very cliche view indeed , but fun to do in this basically monocolour blue hue to get the twilight feeling I wanted. And I have had a lot of sales with Venice views. Painting is on a 1inch deep wooden support in acrylic. 24inches x 18inches.
