Edinburgh Selfie
I’ve been framing lots this last week or so and craving the feel and smell of oil paint. So, here we are. This is a 60 x 60cm Edinburgh cityscape in oil on a cradled board. It was painted using only photo references from a recent trip to the Royal Scottish Academy. I thought it was cold in Aberdeen but Edinburgh was 🥶🥶🥶 and I had to buy a hat! Anyway, I thoroughly recommend painting Edinburgh- there’s a composition everywhere you look. …it’s nice to be back…
