Thanks for the comments. Like all artists, I find that some pictures work and others don't, but often, it is small pictures like this (6x11 inches) that are more successful, especially when you are fired with inspiration and have a time limit.

While trying to think of a topic to paint about self-isolating and social distancing, I painted this small oil painting on primed MDF in just over an hour. Looking at Nelson standing alone on his column, I realised that that fitted the theme.
