Ouch! Thats sounds really painful, whatever you do don't cough! This is certainly not a sorry excuse of a painting, it always amazes me how you can get such good detail just by bleaching away the Quink. Those hands are great . Hope you have a speedy recovery Jenny.

I agree with Val. Great painting again. Art transending pain ....

Don't sneeze! I broke four ribs once and no-one told me that when you sneezed it felt like someone had exploded a hand grenade in your side! Ribs are horribly painful so you have my sympathy. Surprised you managed to paint anything at all let alone a great painting like this one.

Sorry you are in pain Jenny, we all do silly things we regret afterwards! Well you can still produce some striking work! Very innovative. Get better soon X

Thank you Val, Gudrun, Thea and Carole, you are being kind - this one is disappointing. I have trouble with hands at the best of times, this paper is not good for ink & bleach work, must get some new paper which works better, and I don't know why I am so atrracted to mediums I cannot control, the bleach does its own thing and this time its own thing was truly horrible, LOL. Yes, it only took a moment to do stupid thing and injure myself and have spent whole week regretting it, specially during the night - doesn't matter how I lie I cannot get away from the pain. It will heal though.

Sorry to hear about your accident, must be very painful! The result though is very good and I like this painting a lot. There is nothing horrible and the hands are really marvellous. Hope you feel better soon!

Ouch!! Hope the pain is easing Jenny, excellent painting

Sorry to hear of your mishap -hope the pain is beginning to ease. I really admire your versatility in art and I think the hands especially are so good in this painting.

Thank you Satu, Fiona and Carol.

Quink and Miltons, about 16" x 10". Did something really stupid on monday, resulted in a couple of cracked ribs, nasty swelling and pain. That is my excuse for this sorry excuse
