I think this has worked very well, Quink and Miltons?

thank you Stephen, yes - I couldn't find any bleach so sniffed every noxious thing in my cleaning cupboard and Miltons (baby steriliser, not for sterilising babies, LOL, for their equipment) had the right sort of disgusting smell, seems to work like bleach..........

Jenny, I liked your last experiment with Quink and milton.....but I love this one. It's fantastic!

Agreed! splendid! Very effective. Just a question: won't bleach ruin paper over time?

Thank you Fiona and Gudrun for your kind comments. Gudrun - I would have worried about the possibility of bleach damaging the paper and also about the light-fastness of the Quink if I was selling my work but most of mine ends up in the bin so it doesn't seem important. But I have seen work using quink & bleach for sale in art gallery at quite high prices (very beautiful work though, by very accomplished artist)

Admirable technique Jenny, and stunning lighting effect on her body.

Love the affect you achieve, your portfolio is great, just love your diversity.

Beautiful effective painting Jenny (not for the bin)

This is very inventive Jenny, and a beautiful painting.

Thank you Chris, Peter, Glennis and Denise for your kind comments, I am really surprised this has had such a good response, glad you all like it

Lovely.

I'm fascinated to see how your work has changed since I used to buy your cards at a certain Sunday morning venue near us! (I also saw some of your later work when I too had some paintings at the Gallery North.) It really is most unusual and beautifully executed - surely there are plenty of local opportunities for showing it as well as on the internet:- open exhibitions etc? Thank you for taking the trouble to comment on my POL paintings.

Thank you Carlina, I stuck with Gallery North for about 7 years, finally quit last summer. It just wasn't worth all the hard work and I could no longer justify the expense. Did try to get accepted in a few other places. Now I cut out the middle man, what I can't fit on my own walls or give away goes straight in the bin. Save a fortune on framing, hanging fees etc

I could have commented on many of your drawings especially the monotone ones. Some nice work her. I do a lot of monotone work and have got similar comments from the 'public' - that they are too dark. Darker the better for me. Keep up the good work. I will look out for some more.

Thank you Stuart, I do love working monotone
