I love this Jenny and wish I knew how the technique works. You achieve some amazing results, especially with your portraits.

Beautiful jenny !

A great painting still trying to figure out how you did it. I'm sure anyone would be thrilled to get such a great Xmas card.

These are so good Jenny, Love the inclusion of a colour. I liked your angels!

Just love it, reminds me of pyrography,

Thank you Val. I don't know how it is supposed to be done but what I do is flood black Quink onto damp heavy, stretched w/colour paper, let it dry & then paint with Miltons fluid, sometimes neat, sometimes diluted with water. Sometimes I wet an area of ink first and then drop in the bleach, sometimes I add a little more ink. It does HAVE to be black Quink but any household bleach will do. The gold, sepia, bronze & blue tones are created by the bleach 'splitting' the ink. Thank you Denise, Gudrun, Kevin, Carole & Karyl - I had to google pyrography, found some beautiful images, that looks difficult to do !

This makes such a lovely unusual card Jenny, your family and friends are very lucky.

Thank you Val, several people said they liked it :-)

A lovely design and theme, Jenny. Beautifully done!

Quink and Miltons with a little oil pastel, about 10" x 10", used for my Christmas cards this year. I think it worked much better than the angels last year
