Pram

An excellent drawing though I find it a little sinister the pram all alone in those dark woods, makes me think of stories like Babes in the Wood. I'm busy looking for the wicked witch! But, as I said, it is very well drawn just like all your other work.

This is a truly striking image, very accomplished. like Val I am looking for the wicked witch, but thinking at the same time...what a beautiful setting for a babe to be in....better than looking at a factory chimney! I like what I see in your gallery.

Charcoal and oil pastel - what a combination; works brilliantly, and if it is somewhat sinister, well dreams often are. This reminds me a bit of those cut-out books many of us will have had as children (if we're old enough) - you feel there's a story here.

I saw this painting today for real at Gallery North. Great picture - the trees remind me of the ilex trees at Goring-by-sea, West Sussex. Congratulations on your winning with "Apple-2"

Hi Sue I am just looking at your wonderful portfolio and have come across this picture. I love it ! Is it the dark hedges in Ireland ? The trees are very similar to one I am in the middle of at the moment, and the limited red in the pram . I love this type of style also . Thank you for your kind comment on my work 'Shutters'. We must have very similar taste ! Your pictures 'Walking away 'and 'Upwards' I also love - so far am still looking!
