I love this picture and the effect of the "golden glow" to the figure. I look forward to seeing the painting in Gallery North!

A beautifull model painted perfectly with just the right amount of flowers around her. I enjoyed the time spent with this painting.

This is the piece I've been working on since 'Peacock in the Orangery', am still trying to get to grips with OIL PASTELS on canvas. pure fantasy - nothing here is real ( yes I know that poppies close their eyes at night) I am at that stage of not being able to judge it, have tried standing it upside down, have tried sneaking up on it & taking it by surprise and putting it somewhere odd - so that it takes me by surprise. I look like a complete nutter!
