How NOT to paint w/colour

Hi Helen, you have certainly been busy. I like this a lot, love the tonal contrast from forground to background. The figures are great. What I like the most about you watercolours, is the beauty of simplicity.

Bad day Jenny or just old age!!!! Understand we're your coming from, but do not think it deters from the overall picture. I'm the same, there is never a picture I have done that I am 100 % happy with.

OK Jenny, you don't like the background but I do! Obviously 'cos I like detail (often looked down upon)! Your palette is full of wonderful colours to be discovered on looking. I like the whole painting but it is MHO !

Jenny! Stop putting yourself down! All I can say is that this appeals to me greatly. The overall composition is pleasing and it has impact......and your colours are harmonious...

This is a lovely watercolour with NOTHING WRONG with it Jenny! I like it very much, it's different and the colours are feally superb. MHO ( new for me too!)

I couldn't understand your title. i thought 'Am I unenlightened somewhere because I actually LIKE this'. I think it's a lovely watercolour. Unusual and unique and atmospheric.
