beautifully controlled Jenny. A few strand of grass, seed heads in the foreground is my thought to finish it off. But maybe you have something else in mind. Love that eye.

Thanks, John. I had thought of adding perhaps a few small white flowers in the foreground, but think I may just leave it as it is.

He looks as though he's popping up out of foliage the way your cling film wash has turned out Jenny....he's super!

Lovely hare Jenny and a lovely background too.

Wow, looks like he's on guard duty. Lovely.

Nice painting jenny , very nice creatures.

Thank you so much, Fiona, Adele, Henry and Dennis, your comments are really appreciated.

I missed this one Jenny. I love it. I think the white areas look like flowers and the colours work so well together. Really great style. Diana

He's gorgeous Jenny and so is the background.

Thanks very much, Diana and Margaret!

Just beautiful Jenny and the limites palette of colours are jst right. The cling film has worked its magic too!

This is just fabulous, Jenny! I love how the textures add depth and complexity to the backdrop, which is a perfect setting for the hare. He looks like he has loads of attitude!

Thanks very much Chandra and Seok. (I enjoyed doing this one, so am really pleased with the feedback I've received, especially on the background which is always the part I most struggle with when doing animal paintings.)

Love his expression and also the texture in the foreground Jenny.

Thanks very much, Sarah!

Terrific painting of the hare, Jenny and that background is top notch too. Love the clingfilm texture!

Thanks, Heather!

Excellent painting Jenny. Love the cling film on the background and now it blends into the body. The total difference of the head and background are superb.

Malcolm, thank you so much for comment, it is really appreciated. (I always admire the clingfilm work in your paintings, it produces lovely effects in watercolour.)

Fabulous Jenny, that expression is spot on, beautiful textures

Thanks very much, Anjana, wasn’t expecting any more comments on this one, it was done quite a while ago!

Watercolour on acrylic ink. I'm still experimenting with acrylic ink and Clingfilm and had done this background but didn't know what to do with it, but then thought of adding a hare. I love painting hares but hadn't done one for ages - I started this one with more of a line drawing in mind, but ended up painting it instead.
