Woolly Trio (2)

Like this very much Jenny.

Clever,clever,clever.

Well it’s a lovely image Jenny, in your illustrative style!

It's delightful Jenny.

Aww lovely very you 😊

It’s lovely Jenny and really well painted. Yes I have noticed a few colour changes over the past few I have posted, I too is an iPad.

Always enjoy your lovely designs Jenny. The colours seem lovely to me but you know your work. Would be lovely in a child’s nursery.

Thank you so much for the lovely comments! (As often happens, I’m never too confident about a painting when I upload it to the gallery, so it’s great to get positive feedback.)

This is delightful, it was interesting to see the monochrome version first...I liked both very much. My last posting was paler than the picture itself, not massively, but enough to notice. Something to watch for I guess (I use a desktop PC).

Thanks, Lewis! (I actually deleted the first upload of this painting, and upped the saturation quite a bit on my iPad before reloading - it’s still less bright, but a lot better than it was. Only noticed this as an issue following the recent update to the site when some of the text changed colour to that lighter blue.)

Lovely and always enchanting Jenny

Many thanks, Heather!

Both versions have their own charm Jenny, whatever you do is always first class.

This is fabulous, Jenny! Love the composition and the fabulous layered effect. A beautiful piece.

Thank you so much Fiona and Seok for your very kind comments! (Fiona, not sure yours is really deserved, but gratefully accepted!)

I think it benefits from colour, Jenny. I like your blending of the watercolour which adds depth to the picture and the restricted palette really suits the composition.

Thanks very much, Christine and Frank! (In addition to my two favourite colours of Permanent Rose and Green Gold, I included two I’ve hardly used before - Burgundy Red Ochre and Mars Violet. I like the way they work together and will use this combination again.)

Love the woolly trio Jenny! Such good colour and all the shapes work so well.

Thanks, Louise!

Love it!

Thank you, Jan!

This is great!

Thanks, Rachel!

Small watercolour 15 x 20 cm. A painted version of my last post. Been fiddling with it all day, think I need to call it finished now. The colours now it’s been uploaded to the gallery look a little duller, though, than the photo on my iPad. This has happened on my last few uploads - has anyone else noticed it?
