Thank you so much for all the positive and encouraging comments. I really struggled with this - couldn’t get the background right and almost gave up on it a couple of times, but was determined not to be defeated by it. Perseverance usually pays off and once I’d decided to turn it into a collage, started to enjoy it. There are endless possibilities with collage, and it’s really satisfying when it all comes together.

A4 mixed media collage. Working on a few ideas for my Sketch for Survival entry this year. Each year there are more and more entries and the standard is now so high, but thought I might give it another go. The colour on this is a bit duller than my photo - I was going to delete and repost, but David has already commented so will leave it.
