Just an addendum to my comment. I have used a not dissimilar style on my versions of Brittany Folk Art. I should do more. Keep more coming to the Gallery !

Lovely contemporary approach Jenny, this would look fabulous as a huge painting used as a focal point in a modern setting.

Many thanks Richard and Frank. I will definitely do some more in this style. This one is very small, but I'm planning to do a larger one next time. I believe you can now get canvases suitable for watercolour, so might try one of those later. Thanks again for your encouraging comments.
