Marshfield High Street, en plein air
31 x 51cm. This one came with the challenge of having the easel in full sun (though I often do that) but also on the hottest day ever recorded in the UK. Really not ideal watercolour weather, but I was free so I went out. Marshfield is a great place for painting, but I think not well known as such and not touristy. An old market town quite near Chippenham and Bath. I had fun here with the counterchanged signs and post above the car. In fact I had fun with all of it.
