Hi chaps. Thank you very much. With one thing and another hardly having any time at all to paint at the moment, so have not produced a lot recently. I hope one day that will change and I can contribute properly to this forum too.

Stunning water colour Jem - the tonal contrast between the lighter sky and the willow creates a good focal point which then points down towards the far off village. I also like the far right tree as this prevents me from visually wandering off out of the picture to the right. Many congratulations for being the SAA artist of the - very well deserved as your paintings are masterpieces. Now to get a book publisher (Search Press) :-)

My painting isn't going at all, really Jem. I've done a few daft bits & pieces but I'm putting off a 'proper' painting! Scared of failing on the first go!!!Lol. I hope your own future in painting goes from strength to strength.
