‘For you Blue’
The next painting in my Beatles series. ‘For you Blue’, was a blues song written by George Harrison in 1968 and put in their 1970s album, ‘Let it be’. It was written as a love song to his wife Pattie Boyd. I’ve taken the title literally and used blue as the predominant colour, similar to my ‘Disassemble’ paintings. The Lyrics are - I want you in the morning girl, I love you. I want you at the moment, I feel blue, I’m living every moment girl for you.
