Thank you so much for your comment Stephen. Carole. I agree with you. As I was painting it it developed a ghostlike image and then adding those eyes, it turned more into a horror film view.

Different and eye catching.

This stirs compassion in me. I could ask why is he melting? Also the drops look like tears. Also the expression suggests the words 'what is happening to me? ' it's all there in the picture. It's a many layered work Spencer and seems to me to be a psychological image.

Thank you Michael. You’d be correct. There is a psychological meaning to it. There are tears and there is the ‘ melting’ view, where lots of questions lie behind it.

I’ve used watercolour, acrylics and oil pastels to create this piece. I found that watercolour seeps into the black textured paper but rather like the effect.
