A watercolour of a view close to my home. I'm fascinated by the changes in colour and light on the hills, and their distinctive outline. The hills often look very blue.

Many moons ago I completed an Art Foundation, and have attended art classes and workshops along the way, but basically I'm self-taught. I prefer to work in watercolour - I enjoy being expressive with colour and line, and experimenting with mixed media.
