Very detailed and lovely work Helen

Beautiful.

Fabulous, definitely full of detail must have taken you ages!

Thanks, everybody. It did take a long time, but I did it in sections mostly, bringing them all together gradually. I was writing my book on ink and coloured pencil during lockdown and this was a way of working out some techniques. Not sure whether I would have done it in normal life!

This is lovely Helen. I love the tangle of trees and vegetation and the combination of ink and coloured pencil works very well.

Excellent details

Love this, Helen. Such sensuous detail.

Really beautiful, makes you wish you were there!

This turn of the season landscape was done during lockdown, in my usual combination of ink and dry coloured pencil. It was a walk made at the end of winter, and the woodland clearing shows a mixture of very tangled old undergrowth alongside new green shoots and primroses. I like these transitional moments and use them a lot in my work. I was experimenting with my method of integrating the two media, and had the time to make it a bit too intricate - but it kept me busy!
