Just like to thank you all for such wonderful comments, I did enjoy painting this one being where it is but also was pleased with the result in the sky! ( and I’m usually very harsh on my own work ). Oh Heather I so wish I did live in Devon and to be able to walk and paint in the same places as Alwyn, unless someone has a small property they can rent for me permanently! 🤔😂😉🤞

As others have said William, this is a very moody and atmospheric work. Love that touch of granulation in the sky
