I couldnt finish no space so ill finish here. So yes then we went to the co-op and got some stuff then I went to work on this image for a while. I have another pic to put up, I was thinking about what if birds were made from tinfoil, that would be pretty funny, but then if they died there would be a dead bit of tinfoil in the shape of a bird lying on the pavement. So i painted a dead tinfoil bird, i dont know if its good but i'll put it up and you can tell me what you think of it xxx But what if a tinfoil bird got hit by a car and changed its shape, haha imagine if it went round and someone thought it was a baked potato and you were like no dont be silly why would there be a baked potato lying on the road :) xxxx

A striking painting with a blunt message in the title- well worth thinking about. I’ve looked at your gallery Harriett and you have some wonderful paintings there showing considerable talent and thoughtfulness. Your combination of some slightly quirky subjects and your obvious painting skills are surely a recipe for success. Keep painting, look forward to seeing more. X

That's a smasher that girl! Just gorgeous colours...love it!

Hi everyone xx How is everyone doing. So Dad said to me Harriett you need to do something and not stare at the walls all day, I said to him but you go sit in a room and stare at a screen all day. He said thats different as people pay him to do that but no one pays me to stare at the walls. So I got a job in a cafe and worked there for a while, but then I fell and hurt my leg so Im back in the houss just now, so Ive been doing some stuff again. I was in Scotland a while ago and we went to a place called beith and there is a cemetery outside the town with a good view of hills and a windfarm and stuff, anyway walking back to the town it was super dark by this point and I seen an old street lamp, one of those orange ones, then there was one of those new ones beside it, those stupid ones that highway robbers would prob like, so I tried to do them. This was from someones garden not far from that cemetery, there were some flats not far from it. And a Co-op just round the corner.

I'm Harriett. I'm 16 now. I was 14 when I started posting here on this website :)) I'm rubbish at art, but i enjoy it and my dad also likes my paintings. His friend also like them, but his friend doesnt do art, just reads art magazines and wears cord trousers and a bowtie and likes to talk about…
