Natalie Portman dancing inn the movie "Black Swan". Her mouth could have been better, but I made it worse each time I tried to fix it :( I had a teacher who was wanting me to study the human form and I said to him I thought I was quite good at it bcos I paint myself all the time, but I wasnt showing him those because that would be weird. So he wanted me to do some classical style images. So I chose this one :) I always liked Degas, but not so much for his ballerinas. I loved how his backgrounds were always scruffy, I think this is why his ballerinas have good focus. I try to do this with my own backgrounds. I have a lot of images like this one. People seem to like them, but I think they just look like every other painting of a person in a classical pose. xx
