So sorry to hear about the bullying, Harriett - that's awful... I hope that your painting gives you some escape and comfort from the memories of the bullying. It's good that you're now home-schooled and that the bullying has stopped. Powerful painting...

So sorry to hear of your bad experience in the past Harriett. It has given you the opportunity to devote more time to your art though and it shows in the quality of your work. When you are a successful artist you will have the last laugh!

I'm touched by your hystory, Harriett, but I think you will become an appreciated artist.

You are a genius Harriett immense talent

I agree with Cesare and the others. You just carry on and let us enjoy your work here! I look forward to your selfies that are in progress.

I'm so glad that you have found art as a remedy Harriet, you are already showing great talent and your paintings are great. Remember that those who bullie are weak and those who don't are strong and will be winners at the end.

Art is a known therapy, you will work through all your angst from that episode in your deep meaning paintings then who knows where your liberated mind will fly ....

When I wa 12 I was bullied, and badly bullied online. I had to close all my social media accounts. I'm also now homeschooled because of this. At the time I began practising painting shiny objects (blades, pins, needles etc), as most sharp things have a shine. It was at 12 I began to really practice painting a lot, maybe 3 hours a day or so, and about double that at the weekends. Before this I maybe spent about an hour on painting a day. PS the swirls off to the right are meant to represent my hair falling down (I don't know if it worked though). I think the shading at the left of the blade worked well. xx
