Footbridge to Cambuskenneth

What? now comments on this beautiful watercolour? Well, I think it is a new little gem on your perfect gallery!!!

Thanks for viewing and commenting Mia, really appreciated, a neighbour in the village actually liked it so much they bought it ,they particularly liked the cottage with the RED door, which is still known as the Ferrymans Cottage where the Ferryman and boat would row you accross the river for one penny ( BEFORE THE BRIDGE WAS BUILT AND BEFORE MY TIME !!! ) I hasten to add.

Painted this some time ago of the white footbridge which crosses over the River Forth to connect Cambuskenneth village with Stirling and as I have lived in Cambuskenneth for many many years this scene was only a five minute walk away and saved having to carry all my sketching equipment very far !!!
