Another superb piece. The reflections are beautifully rendered, as are the boats and the recession of the buildings.

And I love it too Graham. Great draughtsmanship and such skilled use of colour and brushwork - you've created a realistic scene without it being photographic. Delightful.

You paint these harbour scenes so well and it's a joy to browse your portfolio and see places I know and love.

I think this painting works particularly well because you have cleverly combined the cool elements of the houses with the warmer colours of the harbour wall and mud revealed by the low tide. The red and blue boats together continue this theme. I always think that if you get this balance right then the painting has more zing and harmony. This is a lovely scene and I can see why you wanted to paint it - your style suits this subject so very well. Another great one, Graham.
