Beautifully painted. Like you, I love looking up into the trees and beyond.

Lovely painting. I'm amazed at the fine detail you managed to achieve with oil pastel. You have a lovely gallery.

Very unusual work and so lovely, I also am amazed at the detail for oil pastels you have here, suprb work that would grace any wall. Best regards Chris.

A stunning piece of work.

My only small objection to the comment that it's great to look up into the branches and sky beyond is that the last time I did that, I fell into a bush; I can drag the tone down terribly, I know.... But this is an entirely fabulous painting, utterly beautiful and accomplished with enormous passion and skill. It doesn't get much better than this.

Haha! Thanks Robert. I hear what you're saying. You certainly have to tread carefully when tree spotting. And thank you to everyone for your kind comments.

agree with all the previous comments. You give an excellent lesson in how trees can be painted. These are wonderful.

Amazing great light and so much detail.

Looking up to the sky and through the tress is medicinal. There is only a view of absolute nature and a reminder of who we are and our place on this earth. The tress, like me, reach up to the sky to capture sunlight, fresh air, a distant view above many things we have added and destroyed on this amazing planet, and undisturbed visual freedom from the pressure of an ever increasing wasteful and technological life. (Warning: Aircraft may occassionally spoil that moment).
