With a variety of intriguing characters and the multitude of activities taking place in the park, it's difficult not to see a painting in all directions. Watching the variety of amateur chess players in the sun speckled shade of the trees is captivating, both as a chess player and an artist. This painting allows the viewer to appreciate the setting and perhaps get involved in the players next move.
