Thank you all. Sometimes you can&#39;t find a subject that grabs you but this one did - straight away. I loved the composition and the light and shade. I do enjoy painting on these small boards. For some strange reason (and you wouldn&#39;t think it) it seems allow my painting style to be looser which is something I am always striving to achieve. When you are enjoying yourself it&#39;s hard to put the brush down sometimes and then you overwork it and lose the freshness and say &quot;why did I do that?!!&quot;.
