White Peony

White Peony

Beautiful painting Carole

Gorgeous Carole I can feel the delicacy of the petals. Love it

Really lovely work, Carole. I love the suggestion of a small violet sprig behind the main peony bloom. It picks up the hint of the same colour within the white petals.

Superb Carole asever, beautiful colours and what a delicate touch well done Carole

I know I'm not being very imaginative with words, but this is gorgeous, and has an old botanical book feel to it.

Oh, Carole! You have this uncanny ability to produce such fresh, pleasing paintings.

Perfect exactly as it is, Carole, a winner!

This is the Carole we love!!!

excellent Carole beautifully painted crisp lines and such a variation in tones David Harrison

This is superb Carole. The botanical image are your best cretive field. As Gudrun said, it could be from a old botanical book.

Simply gorgeous Carole, the shading and tones you have used to capture the depth and curls of the petals is faultless.

You have captured the heart and soul of the flower Carole, beautiful colours and tones, lovely work

Really beautiful, Carole.

Very often I look at a work, not knowing the name, and think to myself..this was by a professional, and quite often I'm right. I would have said the same about this piece of work. An outstanding piece ,worthy of a place in any illustrative botanical book. Well done Carole.

Another stunning rendition showcasing your talent Carole, great tones and depth.

You are all very kind and thank you for your encouragement;)

Terrific piece of work , I know how tricky pitching the washes and subtle colours can be in flower paintings , this is superbly painted

Thank you very much Dermot.

Lovely work as usual Carole - super work on the leaf bottom left.

(Sorry, bottom right!)

Carole...Another treasure! Gorgeous!

Back to your first love Carole :) This is stunning, so many colours in those petals yet we know that this is a white flower and a perfect background to show it off.

Thank you Frank, Ruth and Val, yes my favourite medium Val.

Wow, Carole. Fantastic.

Superb piece, Carole. Love how you captured the delicacy of the bloom and the excellent sense of movement of the leaves.
