Love these contrasts and a sense of mystery Carole. Beautiful

Beautiful Carole! The creamy white hellebores stand out so well against the deep red background and I wouldn't have spotted the red intrusion if you hadn't pointed it out! It doesn't detract from the lovely painting.

Just gorgeous Carole. Beautiful background colour, sensitively painted flower heads and that touch of red at the edge of the petals works perfectly for me..it makes them softer somehow.
