One of my favourite flowers painted beautifully<br />

They look gorgeous, again well painted.

Just lovely Carole. Also, my favourite flowers.

Beautiful! Love the shadowy effects in the background.

Great work Carrol.

Great work Carole.

Wonderful painting Carole, lovely colours and shadows in the background.

Lovely work Carol...flower colours beautiful and also love the arrangement of stems and foliage around them.

Wow Carole these are just perfection!!!! :)Linda

These are beautiful Carole, and true to life - De Cean mixed I think! I have grown these since I was a boy.

Beautiful, Carole...Love your colours plus the masterly mixing of the green for the stems in particular, it is an unique one in the anemone, isn&#39;t it. with that ever so subtle hint of warmth.

Beautiful, so very lifelike.

A feast to the eyes and senses Carole beautiful

Beautiful.. love the shadows behind

A favourite of mine too, the colours are so jewel like, your friend will be delighted!

Lucky friend Carole, love the richness of colours and the way you have painted the shadowed flowers in the background.

Not much to be added to previous comments except your work is always a pleasure to see. Long may you continue.

Absolutely beautiful, your friend is very lucky lady Carole.

Thank you, yes she loved it!

I bet she really loves it Carole. Lovely painting with gorgeous colours.

You&#39;re in a rich vein of form Carole! Yet another super painting

Anemones are such a joy to paint in watercolour, aren&#39;t they, its almost as if the manufacturers based their shade cards on these flowers. However, its not easy to catch the idiosyncratic way the stems bend and curl, and I find it even more difficult to create an attractive composition with them, they are so unruly. Full marks here Carole, its a real jewel.

Thank you Russell and Sharon for taking the time to leave kind words, they mean a lot and keep me going!

Love the shadows what lovely flowers

This is so beautiful, just simply beautiful!
