Carole - I have just read this. My heart is with you in this hard time. I went through this loss about a decade ago. The image will always be special now that you have given it an extra meaning.

I haven’t logged in to POL for a few months, my husband was ill for only 3/4 months and passed away early December. My family have been a tremendous support for which I am truly grateful. This painting is an old one it reminded me of our walks in Derbyshire.
