Well Fiona this is a great success. Well done I'm looking forward to seeing more of this method of painting.

There's a whole lot of experimenting going on at the mo. Certainly gives interesting effects. For my next opus, I'll shut my eyes, paint with the wrong hand, using two brushes...ohh, and I'll stand on one leg. (I tried painting with my eyes shut...lordy, lordy...wasn't going to post it...think I will now.)

Carol, I think I may have just one more of these two liners left, I’m eager to get the oils out. Thank you very much for your constant support. You should Lewis, I haven’t tried the eyes shut one but I’m sure mine would be an improvement! Thank you.

This is great Fiona - exuberant and colourful!

Brilliant Fiona. You've been more careful than me. Mention the word 'abstract' and I tend to splash on the paint. This one is well painted and the fruit shapes are so good. Well painted double lines in them which have created some lovely patterns and movement. So interesting to see this and you've used the naughty riggers which seem to have behaved despite being taped together..lol

Louise I quite like it myself to be honest...lol. I must be ill! The riggers have made some good shapes, the only problem I had was the ink running out before I got to the end of a longer line....it’s a bit hit and miss. I wanted to leave a lot of white for a sharp contrast......and besides if I start piling colour on it goes down hill from then on! Might have just one more go......lol Thanks for the encouragement.

Aren’t these just fab!

Great stuff. Frame it. I might have to have a good .... You know me and challenges.

That looks like a load of fun, great idea for abstract painting, I've never done much abstract but might just give this method a go, 😀

Wow, you're great the way you keep experimenting Fiona. You're certainly getting to grips with the two brush technique.

Wow that's different but nice well done Fiona you have a go at anything.

I do think your technique lends itself to some very jolly, colourful work. It's almost as if you are on a high but in a good way. Love all the excuberance being scattered about.

So much experimenting going on...feeling I ought to be joining in...so busy doing stuff for the Fayres though!! This is really exciting!

Whatever you do turns out great Fiona and this is no exception. Your method has produced a very interesting semi abstract painting.

Gosh Fiona you are really experimenting lately, it's an interesting exercise!

Thank you all very much, your comments are very kind.

It looks very nice and effective, using two brushes, Fiona.

16” x 12” watercolour and ink on jacksons paper. Drawn out and painted using two rigger brushes together. Small still life and magazines. Louise this is about as abstract as I can get!
