Green Boat

Green Boat

This is really my kind of stuff, Fiona. I posted a comment on my "Sketch"posting about the Rothring Artpen. Well done here.

Sorry Fiona, I interrupted my remarques to have a look at the Rotring webside. It is ok now.

I really like these sketches, Fiona. Lovely palette and an impressive sky.

Like this Fiona, lovely colours and it looks a beautiful setting.

Another lively sketch Fiona and very good practice.

I really like this. Its the way in which I would like to paint. I am going to spend some time and go through your gallery as I am a new here. Thank you for sharing this.

Looking at the time Lionel, you've either been to a very good party or you've got an early start!! I count on you Lionel to keep me on the straight and narrow......and if you leave me your words of wisdom, I know I must be dong something right. Thank you.x

It is a beautiful setting Glennis, I consider myself very fortunate indeed. Thank you for leaving your comment. Thank you Stephen, it's surprising how much confidence you can gain from going out and sketching. It doesn't matter what the result is, as long as you've enjoyed it!

Thank you for dropping by and leaving a comment Jon.

Accomplished and charming Fiona. You are so good at these pen and wash sketches.

Good sky, good water and a well drawn boat. It must be waiting for somebody to come and put it in water. Well done Fiona!

Thank you Jane, thank you Satu, the boat is there for the fly fishermen who come to fish for trout on the Loch.

Lovely addition to your great gallery Fiona

A lovely little pen & wash painting Fiona.

Very Swallows and Amazons - atmospheric painting which reminds me of childhood days. Don't know why, but it just makes that spring to mind. It is just perfect.

Many thanks ladies, your comments are always welcome.

Really, really like this one, Fiona! It's simple yet so very delightful. You're so very versatile in all the different media.

Very skilled relationship of the textured paper and paint. Fiona. I like the colours in the sky.

Thank you very much Seok, you are always most generous. Thank you Peter, the sky colours are; manganese blue with a touch of U. marine and venetian red.

Hang on Studio Wall

This is another pen & wash sketch I did yesterday whilst at Loch Lexi. Size 9" x 6" sketck book.
