Valentine Flowers

Wow Fiona - I wish my palette cleaning produced such s fabulous result - these roses are just gorgeous. You really have an eye for the shape of the flowers and the colours of the whole are so expressive.

Fiona it's enough to make someone give up painting, cleaning up indeed! Is there no end to your talents, seriously though, it is a nice piece well done lovely shapes and form.

This is a great form of re-cycling, the result is terrific. You've managed to capture these bush roses beautifully, not always easy. Lovely, and apt for Valentine's Day.

Great result Fiona. I also regret throw it away all colours from the palette and I too painted my poppies field cleaning my palette from water-soluble oils colours. :)

I'll take this as my Valentine Day's card, as - somehow or other, and I can't imagine how it's happened - ALL of mine seem to have gone astray. It's a great use of the odd colours on your palette, and a good idea too: reminds me - the paint has half dried on mine, and I'm going to have a hell of a job scraping it off now.... I don't know that I could have produced a lively, cheerful painting like this with my leftovers, all the same.

Smashing use of a mistake Fiona. You know this me and floral stuff but I had to view and study this as it's yours and very attractive. In fact it's damned good. We don't ever mark the date and never have but the lurve remains.
