I love this !!

I admire your freedom with watercolour all the more because I lack - with very occasional exceptions - the willingness to let the paint take over.

Thank you Alan, one of my favourite combinations. Rachel thanks very much. It wasn’t a conscious decision to use such dark-ish ochre’s, it’s what I saw……mind you, the light wasn’t that good. Thank you very much Paul. Appreciated, thank you Valerie. Very kind Robert, thank you. You will know that Alan B uses the Stillman & Birn sketchbooks, so do I, if you haven’t tried watercolour on their paper do try it. You would find it very easy to give watercolour its head. This is in their Delta sketchbook, it has an ivory colour paper.
