Least the other one didn't go to waste ☺ this one is lovely and textures

Certainly achieve your aim Fiona , like this a lot. Fiona tut tut burning your artwork , we have all don’t something similar with our so called mistakes.

Definitely squally! Great result Fiona and I love that sea colour.

Like that a lot, Fiona!

Very atmospheric, you’ve got the stormy feeling there.

Lovely crashing waves; I can almost feel the rain and the spray!

Definitely a stormy day Fiona! Love the way you’ve got the textures into your painting.

Really like the breakers and I am sure the bird. Stormy weather, oh yes !

Faye, Paul, Michael, Sarah, David, Emma, Karen, Spencer, Richard……thank you all very much for your lovely comment on this print. Michael, I’m afraid I can’t add or change it, it’s a one-off monoprint, so once I’ve taken the first impression from the plate it’s lost. You can try and take what’s called a ghost print form the ink/oil paint that is left on the plate but it doesn’t always work. Thanks again.

Definitely captured squally weather

Fiona I love the way you always try and give us something challenging with your art work. This is no different and really works.

You have certainly captured the heavy weather effect. I like it.

I like it Fiona.

Heather, Michael, no problem 😉 Chris, Val-Irene, Lewis, Gudrun, Diane……many thanks for your continued support and encouragement.

Definitely squally weather- really well captured Fiona.

I like the overall effect that you’ve achieved, colours included, but I tend to agree with Michael that the sky could have been a little livelier - more downward/diagonal strokes depicting heavy blustery rain etc… think Turner… You can of course print over this but you’ll need to line up the plate exactly… I’ve done it with a drypoint etching over a dry monoprint - but of course I’m very clever!

I like this, Fiona.

Shaun, glad you like it, thanks very much. Thank you Mr. Clever Clogs, I’ll remember your sound advice for next time! Lol Thank you very much Ellen.

Super Fiona, i often squint at a loose painting to see how the artist has interpreted the scene, doing this with yours is fabulous

Love a good stormy sea. This painting is full of wonderful textures and I love the colour combinations

Thank you very much Romila, David and Cecilia, your comments are greatly appreciated…..thank you.

You've captured the tempestuous movement of the waves superbly, Fiona. Excellent!

20”x14” monotype print on newsprint paper. The last of the few prints I did a couple of days ago….one didn’t survive, lit the fire with that one (am I allowed to own up to that) Wanted to capture the feeling of squally weather.
