Like this Fiona, it sound like a different work you are describing, hopefully we will be back to some warm , drier weather soon.

A great atmosphere here, Fiona. Super painting!

Beautiful Fiona - I love the way you have painted the haze and the floating hills.

Another good one, Fiona. Love how you have treated the opposite hills!

Yes I remember summer, it was a lovely day… This is a beauty Fiona, you’ve captured everything so well, without overworking it. … that makes a change!

Excellent Fiona captured so well.

Aah! those hot summer days...The tide drops so fast around there Fiona. You've caught the mistiness nicely -maybe the mud could've been muddier but then you'd have lost that lovely ochre. I like it.

Love the broad sweeping strokes in the foreground transitioning gently into a lovely misty backdrop. So simple yet so effective. Beautiful work, Fiona!

Michael, Paul, Mia, Heather, David, Sarah, Alan, Chris, Willie, Seok…..many thanks to you all for your super feedback. It does Alan! Willie, it was the misty look that I was trying to keep, perhaps sacrificed the darker tones too much sticking to the misty effect. Thank you for your observations.

Another beauty Fiona always enjoyed your watercolours and this doesn't disappoint! 👍

Lovely place and painting Fiona, nice reminder of summer, looking forward to visiting again.

I love the loose style of this Fiona. Lovely colours too.

14”x12” watercolour on Saunders. I did this on a hot summers day at the Crook of Baldoon, the tide was going out which left more silt than water. The opposite hills looked as if they were floating above the heat haze. It was difficult to keep the washes wet, they dried so quickly.
