Great atmosphere and super sky. Interesting building which you have drawn and painted very well. Also like your dark foreground bushes which help to push the building back.

Sorry William, I meant 'old' in a fond attachment sort of way...am I digging myself in deeper?!Lol You've prompted me to do a little more research on the above building and it was actually built in 1892 as an exhibition hall by the Duke of Sutherland. Later, it took on the mantle of a 'drill hall' for the territorials. I was way out with my estimate of it's age!! I only saw it on the one occassion, fell in love with it, and took lots of photo's. It stands on the side of the busy A9 road but I thought it derserved a more peaceful setting, hope I've achieved that to some point.

Don't worry Fiona when I was sixteen I thought thirty was very old, now I feel like a thirty year old trapped in a seventy year old body and realise just how young thirty is. : ) .
