Ancient oak tree

This tree is growing at the foot of the Cleveland hills, and is estimated to be c.600 years old. The trunk is split into three, but it’s still alive - buds were visible when we saw it last week. There’s a website called the Ancient Tree Forum where you can find, and add, any ancient trees in your area - worth a look! A3, charcoal on Ingres paper.
