A superb painting and beautifully painted Emma, the tree and buildings are really good but for me the still water and reflection really make the scene sing.

Nice watercolour Emma, i think buildings are fine. I would only add one extra rock coming in from the left, that would stop the eye going out of the painting there. I think the tree does that anyway. I hope my comment may help

I liked the contrast between the very still water above the weir and the rocky tumble beneath - might add more rocks tomorrow to distract from the buildings. Watercolour on Arches, 16x 12"
