Jackdaws in the chestnut tree by Emma Price
This is an old tree in a nearby garden; I think it's probably older than the houses which now surround it, so here I've transplanted it to a setting from its younger days. It's not looking too healthy, not many leaves on it this year, but the jackdaws and magpies like to perch in the topmost branches. Mixed media on watercolour paper. 45x30cm.
