I agree with everything Thea says. Portraits are so difficult in watercolour. Specially of young children This is beautiful.

This little girl is the daughter of a friend of mine. I painted her and her two brothers as commissions (a bit stressful!). I found this one the most difficult but I'm finally pleased with the likeness and the backlit hair. I'll post the other two at some point :)
