I would still class this as figurative rather than abstract, but words, words..... It works very well, anyway. Let's settle on impressionistic...

Hang on Studio Wall

Watercolour 27cm x 37cm Arches rough 300gsm. Decided to go abstract and see what happens. Keen to create spontaneously and without reference. Same 3 colours Indigo, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna plus new colour Sepia. Wet into wet, splatter and salt sprinkled. This morning’s effort and keen to try more abstract. Interested to see how it looks on website.
