Sea view cottage over pendeens (Cornwall) blasted coast.
The coastal landscape at Pendeen in Cornwall is full of tin mining spoil which looks like it has literally blasted from the earth. The cottage sits in the middle of the spoil looking out to see and I'm fascinated by its location and the loneliness of it. I often speculate on its history and how many Atlantic storms have battered it. I hope the picture gives the area credit and portrays the location appropriately.
