Clever Z shaped lead in to the painting Stevan, which creates the depth of field perfectly. Love the link of the slate divides to the landscape. There is a similar occurrence in Caithness. The field divides are huge slabs of Caithness stone.

Water colour on mount board with randomly applied gesso as an undercoat. Slate field field divides are unique to Wales I think and are dramatic in a landscape.
