Very atmospheric Stevan, absolutley love the contrasts and that hedge and fence line are striking, the whole thing is great you expect to see an owl quatering the field, nice one.

The hawthorn along the line of the old fence have been systematically cropped by the sheep to create a full line of hedges as depicted. The sky is intended to be dark with the sort of illumination by the moon and the sienna field and foreground were deliberately left with runs to bring texture and to represent the wired shapes you get from moonlight on grass.
